fished the "off early" session friday with my buddy chris for some green bass. it was windy and the conditions weren't great. saw some big boils near the launch ramp but didn't get anything. as we were leaving, a guy near the ramp fishing from shore with a really light set-up started yelling he hooked something big. went over to watch the battle and ended up assisting by grabbing his fish for him when he got it in. turned out to be a big koi I think.

Miramar has some crazy shit swimming around also, Albino catfish, koi, and 2 very large stripers... Come see the tide pools when the water is low.
