10/04 - Chomp This

The big bay was busy. Wind was pushing from the North and the tide was moving out. A lot of CC's on the water, guys fishing, people going out hooping, many sail boats. I headed over to the halibut hole looking for another score, but only found sand. The sand bass are moving in and you can see them stacked on the graph. They plowed on the sink, on the retrieve and the dead stick. I poured a few SDbay colors in a 4 & 5" swimmie this week and they liked all but one (that color will be returned to melting pot). Be on the look out for a rogue crew on Cudas. They're on the small side but still burn the drag.
