Palo Verde 3/17/08

Went with my friend David and one of his friends out to Palo Verde for 3 hours, We basically fished from one of David's friends backyard. We had approx 30 fish for three of us with only a few going under 2 pounds. I had a lot of 4 pounders while David got a 6 and a half pounder and a 5 and a half pounder, David's friend did about the same as I did. this was all the a day after a cold front so this being my first time I wonder what it wouyld have been without the cold front the day or two before. Sorry no pics the bites came in flurries and I wanted to get my line back out ASAP. I hope to go again Monday hopefully take some time and take a few pics.

Truely a fun three hours. If I could fish here when i wanted I wouldn't even have to go to Barrett to get the numbers lol.:snipersmilie:

Sick Mason, I was there Saturday AM for a few and caught 4 fish tubing the docks there. That place is sick and only one of my fish was sub-quality. Only had time for a quick session but I will be fishing there a lot more in next couple of weeks and throughout the summer.
