Aug SQ trip?

we just started planning our yearly san quintin, mx trip for this august. i mentioned something about it on SWB after last year's trip and there seemed to be a lot of interest, so im gonna throw it out there again...

anyone wanna jump onboard? to avoid summer crowds/traffic we typically leave sunday, fish monday & tuesday, then drive home on wednesday. we're aiming for mid-august (10th-13th or 17th-20th). the full-moon is on the 16th, so if we run that weekend, it'll most likely be a strictly WSB trip.

i just dropped kelly @ k&m an email to check his availability, as well as the rest of his fleet (we'll need at least 2 boats). if any of you wanna get involved, let me know and i'll get ya in the circle of information and planning..

steamy, you guys should fill one of kelly's boats with yaks. i know he's down to do it... that would be pretty f'in ace once the 50's & 60's start chewing the paint off the bottom of the boats down there. free tow rides all day...

just got done speaking with Kelly @ K&M Sportfishing and we finalized the dates for this year's SQ Mx run. here's the details...

- TRIP DATES: Sunday Aug. 10th thru Wednesday Aug. 13th (fishing on Mon 11th & Tues 12th)

- FISHING WITH: K&M Sportfishing ( http://www.km-fishing.com/ )

- TARGET SPECIES: WSB / YT / HALIBUT / CALICO (with the option to fish offshore as well)

- LODGINGS: We'll be staying @ the Old Mill Hotel (10 steps from the launch ramp)

So far we have one boat & one hotel room filled, plus 2 other "for sures", which means we pretty much only need 1 or 2 other people to to fill the 2nd boat & hotel room. Use an expediter. There is a very solid one in LA and another in SF. Beware shitty ones common online. If you want I can ask around and get the exact info; if so PM me.
