Anybody got experience with both?

Got experience with just the 'Q'?

I have the 8330 but I am thinking of ditching the Blackberry for the Motorola Q. Your input would be appreciated,

Thanks!

Check out CNET user reviews for PDAs. I suggest waiting a few months for the BBBold with improved OS stability. The Q apparently sucks for email, so if you are doing lots of emailing stick to BB for the instant gratification. My hunch is you would miss your workhorse and have disdain for your sleek new toy. Read the user reviews on CNET.

I am with Drift, stick with the BB. A few friends of mine have the Q and do nothing but complain. Personally I have iphone but it is more for play than work.

Exactly. With the Bold you replace the need to have two devices, one for biz and one for perz. It contains such functionality in the profile management. 2 phones in one. Many carry a BB and an iP.

i use a treo 700wx, which is much better than the former 700w. it allows you to edit microsoft office application files, which other just let you view. but i know the BB storm from verizon also has that functionality and is slightly better. the treo is cool, once you hack it and get all the extra toys, ie: blue tooth - TOM TOM navigation, Slingbox mobile (tv on your phone, control your DVR, etc) and PDF viewer. the treo can also be use as a teathered modem for broadband access for your laptop as long as you have a cord and broadband access (unlimited monthly) if you want to avoid other fees than the $5 monthly they charge you for that service. all in all, for business use this has been the most functional phone, also has direct sync to MS Exchange server which is cool, and you can get a mini SD wifi card for it too.
