interesting read beej..... kinda has me confused too? I think everyone i know that is somewhat of a stereotypical mexican owns a chevy. My grampa actually had a nova too... I think it's more of a northern territory ranchero thing though, all my family in mexico city drive crown vic's and gran marquiz's. Driving a nice car in mexico pretty much = suicide.... I have a gmc (ironically also a chevy) i use specifically for mexico trips, the car is a beast and stops for no authority.
