hit barrett with mason again on wednesday. had a decent pick thru out the day, with the evening being a little on the slow side. ended the day with an easy 50-60 fish, with a half/half mix of the chunky, scrappy versions and the rats. found em eating the blade with glory again today, which is all good with me. unfortunately, no jumbo versions but good times none the less. saw a wild turkey to boot!
thanks again mason for the invite. always a fun fishing with ya. back out there this sunday for a seasons team day :exciter:

No thunder storms at all, pretty much good weather hot with a spotty cloud cover here and there. I was blown away when i got home and saw the news about the storm and all the hail.

Frikkin Duane................Fess Parker...............Davey Crockett............King o' the wild frontier indeed!
And what's with the Atlanta Braves cap?
Thanks for the good read and the pics.
PS: We've been seeing the turkeys (there is more than one) and a few more deer than is usual in that area this year.

LOL!
I expect nothing less. Loyalty is a good trait to have. But my being a Pirate fan (even though they suck) I juuuust had to put that needle in.
IE the turkeys: we watched 4 of them work the hill behind the blue shitter on Becky opening (for us) morning.
June 10th will be my last date out there for awhile. I want to spend all my free fishing time this summer fishing for wild trout in some high elevation areas of the eastern Sierras now that the water levels are going down.
