hit the big B again on sunday with jamie and jeff. as par, first train in and last train out... got into a fun but brief frog bite that kicked out a fish and some good blow-ups. continued on and found a slow pick on the blade. dumped a helluva nice fish around 6:40am in PC on a net mishap. kinda stung for a bit, but after a couple red beers it wore off.

we cracked on and just kept at it, fishing hard, but for a very S L O W pick. most of the action we did get were off the blade and frog, with a good handful eating the dirt shot. all in all, it was a fairly slow day for our boat, but we hung a good 30 fish, had a little quality thrown in and had a blast. cant wait to do it again soon... cuz fishing greenies at Barrett is food for the soul.

Doood, I feel like i have gone to church this past sunday! You know that good feeling of coming back from a long vacation and coming home to a refresh feeling inside...

Hands down was one day I will never forget, beautiful back ground and some good clean fun with good friends...

I even got to get into the water and feel what it feels like to become apart of the lake... LOL Thanks DUANE!!

All in all amazing day and thanks to Masion for showing Duane and Duane passing it down for myself to enjoy for a day to remember for a lifetime!

Glad you guys had a good time out there! Also glad to hear showing Duane a lot of different spots helped. So how did the swim come about? Duane push you overboard after the net mishap? I kept trying to get Duane off balance with the motor but he just never fell in...I will have to try harder next time.

Way to go guys!

i find that hitting submerged tree stumps while someone is throwing from the bow will almost definitely send them in head first :rotfl:

note to self: no more casting on top of the bow :rotfl:

I like using these more than I like using frogs. A weedless Spook.

PS: I have in the past also used these fishing the canopy in NACLH2o. Explosive strikes by the sportcoats at times. You just have to be careful of 'cuda strikes on these as one 'cuda getting it in his maw will ruin it.

I kept at it all day, as it was my first time fishing the frog and fell in love with it right away! I had about 6 blow ups in the AM and could not stick any of them, but i kept at it and finally got the hang of that style of fishing and is by far my fav way to get them... All or nothing style!!

Thanks sarge for that, those things look nasty! Going to do a lil online order as we speak to get a few in the box for the next trip.

Nice report you guys!
