Duane and Sarge...er I mean USMC9999,
I was looking at some Left Handed Newells on http://charkbait.com/cs/csrn.htm
and they have 220 Left Handed for $129. My question is,...Do I need to get a "P" series..or is the standard 220 sufficient?

LOL! I just can't fool you bright young gents with useing a new nom-de-plume.
Nate, I can't answer what you want to know. The only Newells I really use are "P" series. I have a couple of "C" series Newell reels I just picked up but I haven't used them yet. "C" series reels aren't offered (they're antiques) in the market now days.
I'd say from on the 'yak the standard would do you fine but go with what Duane advises as he has a better handle on it.
Good luck. $129.00 isn't that bad of a price for one.
Just like in the avatar pic............in one hand you have discomfort and in the other you have relief. Is it safe?

the standrard 220 will do, but i think the "p" is def worth the extra $50-$60. its a lot more durable, has more metal parts and has much smoother/better gears than an "s" series.
Duane, I lost that auction by $1.00 for that 338-J5... Pissed.

Well hell, the way you're going trying to get a jig reel those 45s put aside for you are going to disintegrate.
Were you :snipersmilie:ed in an active auction or did you just place a max bid?
Went for the old last second bid trick. Held the top spot for a cool 4 seconds then was outbid by a $1.... Thought I had it, popped the champagne and everything..:idiot:

bum deal.. you probaly bid against one of those fag ebay pros who sits around winning vintage purses all day, then resales them to boutiques.
i gave up on ebay cuz of that shit :frustrated:
People actually have computers doing the work through programs like sniper. You can pay a service a small fee and they set it so your bid will fire in guaranteed in the last second, literally. I had ebay to a science at one point with multiple open screens all bidding with higher max bids. Now I can't seem to beat the computer.... Oh the horror.
