In early, out at noon.
Beautiful morning. Drizzled on the way there, but the lake was perfect. I went into this day expecting the worst given the relatively crappy reports from Wednesday fishing.
Hauser was the place to be. No frog, buzz or TW but then again, my partner wasn't exactly hip to the ways of the tap-water so I had split attention making sure he was doing OK. Found a pattern and locked it in for the day.
DS was the way to go. Not good for the big ones, but we found fish that wanted to bite...so what are you gonna do.
We finished up with 35 to 40 fish. Biggest was 3 to 3.5. Left the PERFECT weather at the lake (75 degrees, light breeze...and FISH) to drive West to the "crappy, pissy weather front coming down from the North."
Back on Wednesday to deal with this fucked up unstable weather pattern. Probably will have a tube spot or two. PM if you need in.
