MDR Baytubers tourney,..

[Lok Dog]

launched at 7am, headed straight to the wall with Jorge, didnt get any bait cause i wanted to do nothing but bass fishing, well, that didnt go to well for me, i wanted to hit some spots outside the wall, but the 5 foot swells, red tide and winds didnt let that happen, since i didnt want to get soak and i didnt want to die fising for bass, i turned around and fished inside MDR, and it was sloooowwww! headed into one of the basins to fish for spotties but got into it with a local who said i couldnt fish there, i let him know i could but said he was gonna go ahead and call the sheriffs, well i just gave him the old "well f*** y** then!" and got on out of there,..tried some more spots for nada, got alot of cudas on the troll, so i stopped doing that, pretty much gave up and went over to the bait barge where the Buddhist were gonna release all the bait, i asked why and she said its because they respect all of life from small to big, thats when i saw Funjunkie in his yak tossing out a live sardine in hopes of catching a big halibut, guess what religion he is??? :lol: ,.. i was waiting around for the release but they were taking to long so i rode on in, stopped at a few more stops at the launch for nada, well i tried, bad weather stopped me this time, there was quite a few peeps that landed some nice halibuts! grats to everyone that came out and gave it a shot, next tourney is in Redondo April 27th, see you all there!
