Metalhead Gigs

I realize I am likely shooting in the long here, cuz hardly anyone my age-ish (well, there is fishman007) is into the 80's-spawned black/thrash/death/progressive/technical/power metal type of music that I so relish. But there are a few distinct gigs coming up that I have tickets for and I am amped up for them. I will be staring blankly at the fingers of the guitarists, especially Dimmu! :shroooom: I saw a lot of jazz and bluegrass in 2007. 2008 is the year to thrash! :sun-smile:

Monday night, House of Blues (I am mainly interested in Meshuggah; Ministry is too industrial for my ears)

The following week in Anaheim (yes, very dark shit - heavy live production and intricate guitar work...me likey).

Then there are some outrageous festival atmospheres that I will be indulging in:

May 20 at COX: Gigantour 2008 — featuring MEGADETH, IN FLAMES, CHILDREN OF BODOM, JOB FOR A COWBOY and HIGH ON FIRE

no doubt... the Knitting Facotry is one of my fav live venues. very "in-your-face". the sound is fawkin rockin' in there too. very clean....
