English translation : Crawdad Guy was giving some love in regards to my 3rd place finish at last year's Western Outdoor News White Seabass Tournament.

I returned the love by thanking CD Guy for catching a couple yellowfin in the WON Tuna tourney last September. We were short a crew member, so CD jumped on the Bank Robber at the last minute. Good thing he did ! Ran the 100 miles to the Cortes Bank (with the fleet), no albacore, but at the last minute CD hooks 2 YF on an old $ 4.00 K-Mart bought daisy chain. Didn't finish in the money in SD, but grabbed enough points to finish 8th in the overall 4 tourney series.

Next, I implied that if CD were to catch a nice WSB in next month's WSB tourney, he would be an "official" crew member, instead of a "stand-in", if he wants the work.:sun-smile::sun-smile::sun-smile:

anyway.......back to my video !

So we hook these monster BSB right up on the beach, like 15', both 100# or more, both 30 min battles on 25# fly-lined candy macks. We were fishing the kelp-line for checkers, and I always dead-stick the 25# at the same time, never know what you'll get, the yellow went 18#. Backed the boat down pretty hard on the BSB while filming, it was a blast !!!!

i fished that WON WSB tourney last year too. unfortunately we only caught fish on the pre-fish day and nothing on Saturday.
