LOL ,..or Dana Point, whatever, some people still dont like the South LA name change either,..met up with everyone in the morning at around 630am, i was late getting up and took a wrong exit as always. Adriel was the first to get there and was ready to hit the water, Pating and Melissa showed up right after along with Re8elmonk0341, Wil also brought along one of his buds who is new to yakking, we all hit the water at 7pm, got to the bait barge and got hooked up with some nice chovies! not those 4 inch shyt we get from SPBC, but some nice ones,..i wasnt looking forward to fishing the live bait, my eye was set on the jetty for some variety species, yesterday i picked up two cups of ghost shrimp from Pauls tackle in San Pedro, lively ghosties that lasted the whole day in the heat,..i started fishing the jetty right away but kept getting small checkers or getting my bait robbed, i was starting to get irritated, an hour went by and nothing worth a pic yet, finally i hooked into what i thought was kelp, started to pull it slow, didnt want to bust the line, looked at the water and saw a huge Cabezon coming my way! oh shyt, fight on! sucker was taking some runs but i got him in quite quickly! booyah! catch of the day,..snapped some pics and put him in the tank, dinner for later,...we worked many areas later for nada, Rebelmonk got a 23inch flattie, sweet! saw a lot of Baytubers out there, Mark Hook1, Dpliska catching leopards and shorts, lol,..Howstar and his lady were out there tubing, catching bass,..Southboundhound yakking for the big one, Adam fishinginmyblood9 with his lilttle brother in law, shyt who else...i dont know, im tired, had a long drive and fished hard, came home which took me a while, some idiot in the section 8 apartments was holding his family hostage or some shyt, i dont know, finally made it to my kids and we had a water fight, i lost as usual,...hope you guys like the pics!
