gave the big. B another go on sunday with lopaka and levi... first in, last out mode. power fished the blade all over the lake, hitting hauser early on, pine creek mid day, and back into hauser, then main lake to finish the day. a very slow start turned into a slow pick all day. ended up sticking 77 fish for 3 of us. we got em on the bank, in the brush and out deeper. had a couple nice fish come unbuttoned, one in back of PC and one over in becky's.

kinda funky bite out there with no real pattern or "zone" that we could lock into until towards the end of the day, where we started finding them deeper, right along where the old tulle lines would be. just find em, sink out your blade a bit and slow grind it right above that nasty dead stuff. we had fish coming out of it t-boning our baits good. im fairly confident that if we had a couple more hours, we couldve stepped up our fish count a good bit fishing that stuff, but alas 7pm rolled around and we had to call it a day.

as always, a great time and some pretty fun fishing. gotta love barrett season....

How decomposed was that dead one ? late season last year I found a floater in the back of Hauser , Choked on a big bluegill . Dead fish was real fresh when we found it and saw it in the same area 3 trips in a row . Voracious bastard killed himself :redi-dream:
