2 of us boated 58 LMB and 11 BG for the day. Went in at 0800 and stayed until 2000 hrs. All boats were out in the morning but most left before 1400 hrs. One other boat was on the lake at 1800 hrs and they left shortly after that.

The H2o is clearing up. It's still a shit brownish/green color but not as discolored as 2 weeks ago.

Good fishing in the morning along the right side of the dam face between the guage tower, the dam face and the right bank until we ran out of the plastic bodies (Castiac Pearl Minnows) the bass were nailing.

We didn't find much shallow after we left the dam area so we set up on a rockpile in Hauser (after reconning some intersting looking shallow areas for nada) and just fished there for 3 hours because there was a slow pick of bass. We ended the day parked on another rockpile for 2 hours in the main lake that gave us a slow pick of bass and bruiser BG. Both piles are in 15 - 30 ft of H2o.

Crearure baits (crawdad, purple, Blk/Blu), Blu/Blk jigs, and 6 inch slugs produced on both these piles.

It was a slow pick but it was a good pick. Relaxing. Not the countless back to back casts for one here or there of our previous trips this year.

Good job Doug. Good to hear the water is clearing up.
Nothing wrong with a slow pick. Kinda like a bluefin plunker. But what the hell do I know? Glad to hear that you'se guys done good.
