made a mid-season run out to the big B for a day of green bassin' on sunday. first train in, last train out... killer day weather-wise, except the wind was on it early. no biggie tho. we started out with a slow but satisfying pick in the early AM, but we worked into a nice pattern, found some very productive shoreline and laid lumber in the PM. lost track of how many fish we caught once we were in the 60's. we were also able to weed thru the healthy little barrett chunkers a few times in return for some nicer fish. didnt have the scale, but the big girl went 21.5 inches on the measuring stick, with some serious shoulders.

fish bit tight to cover all day and came on frogs, lizards, creatures, senkos (flylined/wacky/weighted) and cranks. we found our hot spots in the back of hauser and main lake. productive patterns were fishing senkos super tight to the treelines on the points and right next to steep drop-offs + flinging lizards and creatures at the rocky shorelines with no new growth. fish em slow and even deadstick. game on.

Yeah has been a few weeks for me.... had 2 trips go down the toilet, but had a great trip yesterday.
