Went to visit one of the wifey's friends in Sedona. Did the drive and view/scout thing on Saturday...

After the scouting trip, got up early Sunday morning to fish this...

All fish caught on a small panther martin and released for next time

Caught a few brownies as well but they were camera shy.

If you have never been to Sedona, AZ I would definitely recommend. It is considered by many to be a spiritual vortex :Ganjaman: due to the true contact with the surrounding nature and I would have to say I had my moments of true connection.

Oak Canyon Creek is very beautiful and every hole has fish in it. I came up to one hole that had over 100 fish in it but would not bite anything. If only i had a flyrod....

I guess it was a good year to miss the San Diego Offshore scene, I mean what offshore scene. Hope the next couple of months bring in some cleaner water over there. I know there are a lot of people not making enough trips to pay the bills. Maybe the recent south swell will bring something up...

Dang dude, wish I'd known! Gotta roll up to Camp Dirfter some time. PM me next time you roll up. We have copious Lemurian crystals, Purple Haze, and Oak Creek Pale Ales. ;)

Can't see pics though, botophucket says they been moved.

Pics should be fixed, I will definitely hit you up next time Drifter. This was our first quick visit but now we know how easy it is to make it there from Tucson, we plan on making it up there more routine.

Had some Oak Creek Ale and its no ballast point but it definitely does the job.

Been there (in derfs jacuzzi).. Killer place for sure. You should be fishing the salt river about a half mile downstream of were the verde river drops in... or a few spots I know at Saguaro and Canyon..... Theres fat walleye to be had at canyon. :Ganjaman:

Oside know's what's up, nice call. Fishing troot in the energy vortex puddles isn't the best fishing to be had in the area. That being said, Sedona is totally an incredible place... Good on you for getting out Kyle.

I will hit you guys up for some tips the next time I'm there. Never tagged a walleye before so I would love to try that out.

Gotta drink pints at the brewery itself, on NW side of town, with the bottomless popcorn and peanuts and psychedelic rock blasting.
