BARRETT SESSION - 9/15/10

got the day off from the rig, so i gave doorman a jingle and made plans for a barrett run on weds. first train in, last train out... found a nice steady pick in the AM in middle Hauser on the TW (spooks/sammys), jigs and plastic. milked that bite til about 11am, then went looking. checked out PC for a bit and pulled a few fish outta there, then back over to Hauser for the PM bite, which didnt disappoint. again, fish caught on plastic and topwater.

lots of schoolies on shad in the open water, but we opted to pound bush with rubber and throw the bigger TW plugs. it paid off on two accounts, with quite a few other opportunities that got wrapped up on various structure (brett was fishing the NASTY all day!).

ended the session with 46 LMB. lots of 2-3lb chunkers. only a couple dinks again. loving the average grade. fun little fish to pull on between the bigger ones.

killer day on the water with little wind and temps in the upper 80's. good times fishing with ya brett!

just a couple more sessions left for 2010... good luck to everyone getting their last licks in!
