Fished the float tube at El Cap this last week,a cple friends have been doing well lately throwing dads.
I decide to 'enhance' my bait with a little butter...promptly schmered a glob all over a big ass bait and tossed him out,,,10 minutes later nothing...brought thr fucker up,and realized he still had globs of goop all over and didin't look natural...chummed him.
Switched over to steath mode on the butter...little dab on the underside only,and threw him out....
....got three bites,landed two,one about 3.5lbs.
other 2 peeps fishing same hole were skunked.
Either the cap is over and fish moved up,or Butter is Better?
