The first Showdwon of the 2008 season was won by Tom Buckalew and Brett DeLong (Team Quantum) on Mission Bay.
The 2008 Showdown series moves to Oceanside Harbor on May 10th.

Just as a footnote...
Teams will be fishing for a combination of their 5 best calico and/or sand bass.
There will be two option pools available at $10 each. One for the largest calico and the other for the largest sand bass of the tournament. One team can win both options if they bring in the largest bass in each species.
Entry fee is $50 per team.
The Islands are off-limits. Coastal waters only.
