my buddy levi was pre-fishing the SWYC rockfish tournament yesterday in about 300ft of water straight out from the antenna in PL and got into a nice school of 17-20lb yellow. they came up not even 25 yrds from the skiff and were crushin bait balls on the surface. he casually plucked a couple on a swimbait, then went back to bottom fishing, which was slooooooow.
so if you see those big birds schools a mile or 2 outside the kelp in PL, you might wanna take a looksy cuz theyre around. you also might wanna give the Green Tanks pinnicles a go as well :thumbsup:
