Right off the bat beej was being attacked by moths. Warm Pt. Loma kelp beds very birdy from bottom to top from light to around 8:30. That was it. After that things got real quiet, unless you want your chicken and goat well curried. With Trix Jetty Worms and Unibutter we made a mess of the stacked calicos at "The Lake" :cheers: for about an hour and a half. Much action. I got pummeled on one drop and up came a big headed 6. Ah, haven't felt a tug like that in months. Water outside kelp was 59-60, with the inside kelp around 61-62 and the beach at 63. Beej jigged up a couple rusty lings. Sunday morning should be going off, if only initially. Big up ya crew... :ras:

I fish all the time, just don't report to piss Tommy off. :thumbsup: Great day out on the farm. There was a lot of skin shown, manwiches made, and goats curried. Beautiful weather out there and lots of early smacktion. Thanks to Robot for the invite and the laughs.... I catch the most kelp.

Drifter Thanks for the report, BJ always catchs the wierd stuff. Good to see the calicos are moving up. You have inspired me, going to give up the tourney shit and start fishing CALICOS again miss the open water.

Nice. We headed to PL in the afternoon - water temp is up to 63, water looked good, but the fish would not co-op. We had a couple, Matt had big fish with a 3 1/2. Several bites missed on topwater with a couple big ones not stuck. Good to see you guys gottum mo betta.

Funny, we were commenting on the crazy kayaker. "What the hell is that guy thinking with all these drunken yachts tearing around the bay?" I figured you would have to wait another 7 hours to safely pass! :thumbsup:
