Spent a week in Cabo with the wife and friends at a lazy seaside condo:

Waves were OK and easy access, so I was happy to surf instead of fish:

My buddy and his gal did the panga dance (help with fish ID please?):

Ceviche and sashimi for days:

East Cape, anyone?

Roosterfish > Sierra > Jack Crevalle? > Red Snapper

Cool man. Cabo is important. Drifter is going deep mid-August. :exciter:

Drifter, why August? Too freakin hot! Is fishing good there in summer?

Duane, the condo was at zippers (San Jose del Cabo). The shot of the palapas are on the East Cape. Here's the same spot from a dif angle about 5 years ago:

This is Pat Curren about to paddle out, 70+ yrs old and still charging:

I wish I'd bought property out there 5 years ago, damn that place has changed.

Very cool pic's... thanks for sharing!
Cabo has always been very kind to me but it has changed alot over the last 15 years. The evolution of that place is kinda like what happened to vegas over the last 20 years.

this is an old thread but this is my turf and im bored. those are 2 rooster fish (pez gallo), a red snapper (wachinango), and a sierra (its in the makeral family). and yes, the fishing is definatly good in the summer time. in fact, better in my opinion.
