thats crazy man... thats right down the street from the deportiva's futbol arena. didnt we eat at a Gastoff (spanish version of denny's)that was right there? i know i staggered around drunk on that street a couple times too :muse:

there had to be some massive swell to get a wave to make it thru that huge bay-like cove. seemed like waves could only break way out on the points.. it does face the open atlantic tho...

nuts.

I am impressed Duane. I am currently rooting for Deportivo following the promising career of Andres Guardado.

nice one... we actually went to a Deportiva vs Real Madrid match @ Deportiva a couple years back and watched Beckham and the RM team get their asses whooped in front of 40,000+ raging Deportiva fans. pure madness. needles to say the entire city partied til 10am the next morning :muse:

here's a (wasted) shot from the game...

Unfourtunatly most of the photo's from that trip are on a lost drive... Probably for the best, I dont think either of our girls would appreciate them much... The bartender at telefunkin was top class for sure, its a shame i cant pull up her photos. I know I took enough of em...Deportivo vs Real Madrid was awesome, I still remember watching Roberto Carlos blast the ball from midfield to score a goal. (that guy is insane) Here are a few memories though, had to be one of the funniest assignments ever....
