Today was weird. South La Jolla Klep, bait everywhere, bass poppin' & lockin' but not bitin'. Matt decided to go TatJonny bass crazy and started pullin' 'em left and left. He musta thoughts they were real bassphalt and then he hooks into a real nice Jonny McBass on the TattedJonnyWorm.

Forest and I were bored, so I was all "lefts go prefish for Canoe tournament in Mission Cove" and Matt's like "sure" and Forest is all "I'm gonna take my shirt off".

So we went and caught spotties and the eel grass. Dunno why they call it eel grass, doesn't look like eels to me. We caught 'em on everything...20 pound bass gear, pink TJWs, Dr. Scholls Gel inserts. Sometimes them spottiebass are downright gullible. Hot bait.
