Thanks to Duane giving me the 911 the other day on the YFT.
Decided to make a run to the 182 even though fishing had been great for the MAW this weekend at the 302.
Ran out Choppy incoming surf, going out,13 knots max all the way out finally made it after stopping on 3 paddys 7:00 am for Nada.
started trolling to find the fish lots of boats out there driffting for bites No dolfin. Hit two albies on the troll. Bought some daisy chain small hochies from squid co that have been really bringing the fish in on troll.
in 2 days of fishing 4 YFT, and 6 albies, on the dark and green colors.
Set them up far back on the outriggers, even doubles came on.
Got board about 1:30 and started back to try the afternoon bite at the upper Nine. on the way in hit a great big pod of dolfin. And It was on and on, run and gun.
bought a bucket of chum from squid co and we would stop drop two scopes of chum and a couple of dines, and Walah.
YFT after YFT. buy 4:40 we had 8 YFT, and 2 ALbies.
Water temp 69 to 70.9 at the most very few breaks of 71.
Great quality YFT. even with 30lb test a couple really work hard.
